This isn't the traditional "check-in" thread. Its more of a poll really. I'd like to see how many 10-win SEC teams there will be next year.

For shits and giggles what's the most number of 10-win seasons that the SEC has had in one year and who were they?

Had we played Mcneese we would have had 10 last year. We are going to be much better and have an easier schedule

IB4 Kentucky fan tells us his basketball team will win twice that.

10 is expected and the minimum allowed before it reaches the dreaded "did not meet expectations" designation.

LSU was a 10 win team last year if their cupcake game was played. They bring back almost everyone and upgraded DC.

10 wins in the bag.

Not unless Dan Enos walks on water. We lose quite a bit of punch in the offense as regards experience, though we have a good deal of talent.

Our defense should be better but it can't really be worse against the pass.

If the Hogs win 10 games then the stars aligned and we are going to Atlanta and playing for a shot at the CFP.

I have us more in the 6-6 to 8-4 range myself. Anything lower and Bert's seat gets set to burning inferno.

There were 6 in 2012. Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Bama, LSU, and A&M.

I'd imagine that's about the ceiling.

eta: these are legit 10-win seasons, as in winning 10 out of your 12 regular season games, not relying on bowls or CGs

I'd say inb4 an Aggie fan posts about Kentucky, but y'all beat me to it every time.

And to the OP, no. We'd just like to see 6 at this point.

If you don't win 6 this year I think its time to start looking for a new HC. Kentucky has started very respectably the last two years and then collapsed in the second half of the season.

I am not anointing Kentucky as my SEC East pick, but I honestly think y'all should have gone to a bowl game the last two years. If Stoops cannot deliver this year I say let him go, Kentucky should be a perennial bowl team.

That's a lot higher than I expected. I really felt like a lot of fans claim their team will go 10 wins and then only two or three do. Never would have imagined more than 4 in one year.

ETA: And somebody down-voted my first post in the thread. LOL, what the hell for?

I think Ark could reach 10 counting the bowl.

I think they are underrated in the West.
