Thanks for the reminder. I've posted the link on Facebook, so the all-important Vicksburg population will most likely push our local cable provider to include it along with DirectTV/Turner/whatever for all of you poor saps stuck in big cities. You're welcome

everyone is stating that all will be cleared up by August.
but as a comparison, do all carriers in at least Texas carry the LHN? Do all states in the Big 10 area have access to the B1G network? And if they do, do you get this on a mid tier package, or do you have to subscribe to a premium package, such as U450 on Uverse?
Also, what about areas outside of the SEC?

So, the SEC Network is just like the Longhorn Network? Only five people get it.

Comparing the SECN to the Longhorn Network is like comparing apples to porn.

I'm in Dallas with Time Warner and I get BTN, Pac12Net, and LHN.

I would be surprised if they don't pick it up with A&M/USCe being the first game.

Also, the SECN and ESPN have made it incredibly easy to request the network from whoever your provider is.

Everyone here should use the link on that site to notify their provider at least once.

I have, more than once, but I think East Coast Band's statement is right on. There are a LOT of providers out there, most of whom currently have no (public) plans of including the SEC network. We all need to hammer our providers until they 'fess up one way or the other.

This. I don't know why anyone would freak out over this 8-9 months before the network is even available.

My guess is the SEC Network wants people to bitch and add ammunition for their negotiations with the providers

That said increases in my billing be damned, I want more Georgia. No, I NEED more Georgia

UVerse is bad arse for stuff like this.

I think I'm the only person I know that gets the PAC 12 Network.

Settle down people. I have Comcast. They say Comcast doesn't carry it, yet. Every cable and satellite provider will carry it....for a nominal fee. If one of these people doesn't carry it, they will lose a lot of business and they know this.

Now if Comcast decides not to carry it, somebody let me know who has it. I will be at your house. I drink pretty much any brand of beer so it doesn't matter what you have. No need to make a fuss over me.

If Direct TV doesn't carry the SEC Network I will cancel and subscribe to someone that does after being a loyal customer for 11 years.

The difference is that Texas, B1G, and PAC fans won't poison the cable executive's trees and teabag their children if they can't see games.

Once our fanbases start applying pressure SEC-style and it becomes more about personal safety than profit margins then it will be carried nationwide.
