Will we ever see NCAA or an iteration of it again?

I know I'm not the only one who enjoyed sitting down and playing a game of NCAA 14. Do you think we will ever see a college football game again in the near future?

EA Sports expressed interest in continuing it's sports series or maybe 2K Sports could take a shot. After the O'Bannon case dies down do you think we may see a new football series once paying players and all that is settled?

Would you like to have the series back yourself?

I thought '12 was a better game than '14.

Would love a newer version though.

I'm sure we will. With the popularity of the NCAA football video games it's only a matter of time until a developer finds a way to get the licensing issues straightened out and start making them again.

Honestly I'm hoping that this ends EA sports' monopoly on football games because I've felt like NCAA has been the exact same thing over and over since literally NCAA 2002. I always liked the gameplay of NFL Fever, ESPN Football, etc. so maybe one of those developers can pick it up and really make a badass college football video game instead of us repeatedly spending $60 on the same exact thing year after year

The NCAA will not license like that anymore. Thats the biggest issue. A developer would have to negotiate with all the conferences etc.

Dont think it will happen.

I've read that companies are looking at making a generic college football game and incorporating a super detailed team builder mode where somebody can recreate all of the schools and teams and put them online for download, similar to how the rosters have been for the last few years. I don't have a single friend that doesn't own NCAA football video games so as long as the market's huge (which it is) it's going to happen in some form or fashion eventually, we just have to wait until somebody comes up with a good way to get around it whenever that's going to be

If the business model's not broken, don't fix it.

I just wish they would allow you to upload your own mp3 as a fight song.

Its going to get even worse soon. Jeffrey Kessler is going after college football and might ruin everything. A video game is low on a list of priorities.
