Will Vanderbilt's dominance of their state impact the Vol coaching search?

It feels like Vanderbilt has become the dominant football power winning 3 of the last 5 after decades of Tennessee dominance. I have heard most coaches are intimidated by trying to get a fledgling program like Tennessee off the ground. I assume right now the Vol program is being kept afloat by the money Alabama must pay them to be a cupcake on their schedule.
