Will the LSU coach be walking into the best situation in SEC history?

Assuming we win out, we will finish the year in the top 10
Have any of the other schools welcomed a new coach with a top 10 team?
Bama was ok when the Bear left, but not top 10
I'm genuinely curious. The only other situation I can think of is arnsparger left LSU with a top 10 team in the 80s as well. And archer fuxked it up

I guess I should have said due to a firing
There have been multiple times in which coaches left for the NFL and the new coach had a good team. But our new coach will be inheriting a top 10 team after a firing

Your schedule next year is a killer, no proven QB (see Etling), no Lynyrd, and Alleva is an idiot.

Any coach that is being hired by LSU is the best situation in the country by default.
LSU is a top 3 job in the country.

The returning team won't be top 10. Y'all are losing a lot. No QB. But yes, it will be a good situation for Ed O to inherit.

Doesn't L6u lose a lot of upper classmen this year and I bet LF opts out, anyone else leaving early?
If what i have seen on the L6U roster makeup and departures for the draft then L6u will take a pretty big step back next year regardless of coach
