A&M just passed Texas as having the most donor money of any school in the NCAA. A "homerun hire" for them is not the 2nd year HC at UTSA. He may could very well do well there, but he won't be in their top 10 names list. I'll throw out Bob Stoops.

Not arguing that point. I'm just saying the LSU just went thru something similar and we ended up with Orgeron. Btw...I was fine with the hire.

Would be an interesting name but I have some OU friends who think he's gonna make a run at the NFL. Personally I think A&M is gonna do what they always do: overpay and under deliver.

Aren't we a bit early? Sumlin hasn't been fired yet as far as I know. I know that aTm is rich but his buy out is pretty steep. They might have lots of money, but they aren't likely to just throw it away. He could turn this around, have a good season and keep his job.

If they are going to go for a rebuild and to some degree culture change (which I would be clamoring for as an Aggie fan) Frank should be on their list.
