Will Tennessee be satisfied with a 6-6 record and bowl win this year?

They went 6-6 last year and beat a below average Big 10 team in a bowl, and acted like they won the national title.
Will the same this year still be a success?

6-6 with the youngest team in the history of all football? Sure I'd count that as a huge brick in building back.

And Bama gets to play them every year. Makes me sick.

I said at the beginning of the year 8-4 or 7-5. So not far off.

You almost won against some good programs. For what it's worth, Arky slipped up but they've played everyone really fricking hard after that.
You had us but we managed to stumble our way into a win, but it's probably because your team is young.
You've led every game so far -- a year under your belt and you guys are definitely back. 100%. You haven't been blown out and you had a chance to win every game -- that's more than we could ask for with Muschamp.
Just a little more patience, because I think Tennessee is going in the right direction for what it's worth. A lot of people will just give Vols fans shite, but really, Tennessee gave us way more of a game than Ole Miss, and that's saying something.

frick NO. We aren't Vandy. The last 8 years have been an utter disgrace and embarrassment for our proud program, even the 7-6 ones.

Tennessee has a ton of talent now. 6-6 would be a disgrace.

STFU. Tennessee blew that game and the OU game due to Butch's ineptitude and we all know it. You just want him to stay around cuz we will continue to be an auto-win as long as he's here. And we didn't lose to a team younger than us because of youth. Or a team less talented because of talent. Or a team less deep because of depth. COACHING, COACHING, COACHING. Only reason we're 2-3 and you're 5-0.

This. My fellow Vol fans need to listen to this but most won't since fans get so emotional about their own programs at times that we become blind to what's in front of us. The problem isn't this season which in reality has shown a whole lot of progress, albeit very painful progress, but that we've been rebuilding for 8 years. That's not CBJ's fault but he's getting the heat of all those prior years of mediocrity and/or failure by others.
There's criticism to be had but we are largely on the right track. It's just painful to watch a good/talented team learn how to win.
