in the playoff era, bama won't be winning that frequently.
given Bama went thru several coaches b/t title years in 92 and 2009, obviously the university doesn't make the coach.
if the university makes the coach , then why does the university overpay for coaches? lol

I really wish Chicken would install a 100 post minimum before allowing people to start threads. You snowflakes really do kill sites like this trying to fish for a few "angry" solicited comments from a fan base. You can't even get on Sec Rant without having to sift through a barrier of chitty threads looking to garner a negative response.

Alabama isn't overpaying for Saban...he's worth a lot more.

Alabama is the only team to be in the playoffs all 3 years, and won a third of them. When the playoffs expand, UA will stand an even better chance of making the playoffs most years. They may win more national titles more frequently than ever.
