Count so far:

Greatest SEC RB ever: 11
Not greatest SEC RB ever: 0

"greatest" can be subjective. Will he be the SEC rushing yardage leader when his career is over? Probably not. He'll split carries this year, and will likely leave after 3 years, so he'll only have 2 carry heavy seasons.

Will he be the SEC highest drafted RB ever? Doubt it.

does he have a chance to be talked about among the best ever? we'll see i guess.

I think, at this point, you could argue that Bo was better than Najee is

He'll be better than Fournette and Guice so that at least puts him in the Top 10 all time

Here's what you are really asking. Will a RB that probably won't play a lot his freshman year, that wasn't the unanimous #1 RB coming out of HS (as was Fournette, Marcus Lattimore, etc...) be better than Hershel, Bo, McFadden, Henry, Faulk, E.Smith, etc... It is possible, but good lord, that's one hell of a leap. I guarantee that Cam Akers has better freshman stats and Harris will be unlikely to catch up over his following 2 seasons.

Excited to see him...but please with the hyperbole.

Sorry...coffee hadn't kicked in yet. My sarcasm-detector was operating on about 2 1/2 cylinders

Stupid.

Bama RB's are busts in the NFL.

Saba will retire after this season.

Ingram just ran for 1,000 - the first time a Saint has done that in like 10 years. Lacy won Offensive rookie of the year and has over 4,300 yards from scrimmage in his 4 year career. (we wont talk about Trent, but you lumped all Bama RBs together as busts and that's simply not true)

I think Najee will do alright when he gets his chance in a year or two. He's got some horses ahead of him this season, he'll get a few carries this year just like Jacobs last yr.

He will be locked for Heisman but in Nov, when playing LSU he will be stonewalled for 31 yards, with Guice rumbling for 200+ on the strength of 2, 80+ yd TD runs to give LSU the huge upset win in Tuscaloosa. This propels Guice into first for the Heisman giving LSU their 2nd one all-time.
