Florida fans must admit Will built that team that won the East last year. There are some morons on this board after reading the comments that he will fail. One of the best recruiting staffs in the SEC. Give us 2 to the years and SC will be shocking some teams.

Will muschamp got run out of gainsville and hopefully make it out of south Carolina alive. I look for muschamp to take the gamecocks into the pre holtz years.

He also built a team that lost to Ga Southern.

But I'll give credit where it's due, Ga Southern is much better competition than the Citadel.

The problem is you had one of the best coaches in the history of the SEC, yet you couldn't maintain it.

SOS' lack of effort at recruiting was the main problem. He was motivated there for a little while and then fell back into his old habits.

OK then you must admit Galen Hall built the team Spurrier won the SEC with in 1990.

Steve Spurrier quit recruiting. Boom is already a better coach than our best coach ever

All those nuclear power plants in SC must have finally mutated the brains of people across the southeast.

Spurrier loves golf....lets face it and he was damn lucky to have the best recruiter in the country on his staff, than other than Ron Zook who was a machine when recruiting talent. Zook never got the real chance to see his classes develop and had a true frosh QB start after first game in 2003 and he was a true soph when Zook was fired. Urbs won the 2006 with mainly Zooks players...especially 9 players on defense who left after 2006 title. Not saying Zook was a better coach but I think 2005-2006 would have been very good years for him. Spurrier didnt exactly leave the cupboard full. OL was a damn mess. Rexie was interception prone and the Ole Miss game is prime example of him helping the rebel cause. He left after 1 yr with Zook and then we recruited the Gatorade National Player of the Year...Chris Leak.

I think Muschamp is good at some things and terrible at others. Maybe he learned on the job at UF and will make some changes, only time will tell.
