Is somebody going to step up and play football in the weak SECe or is Mizzou going to cruise, again, to another division title?

We're going to be losing some important pieces, we certainly won't repeat this season's success. However, we will compete for the division with SCAR, UGA, and whoever else steps up.

Georgia won't have injuries like this year. Their QB looked like shite in his bowl though.

Florida has to be better.

USCe have our number

Vandy Kentucky and Tennessee are all respectable an can win on any given day

Few injuries or even areas lacking on our team an we focked

lol no

It takes a dogshit performance (see South Carolina, 2013) by a decent team to lose to us.

Very little talent on our roster outside of the incoming class.

I fully expect Tennessee to be better than they were this season.

Florida is gonna be healthy next year, gets Miz and USC at home, and has probably the most talent in the division. They might not win the East next year but they'll come close.

That is not saying much. Our o-line and d-line will most certainly be worse. We just do not have very much NFL speed on the roster.

It is a waste of time to watch us in our current state. Awful football.

2015 we should be a very underclassmen heavy, but talented team.

If Butch has not won the SEC by 2016 he will be sent packing.

Tennessee's sched next year is also a nightmare...they'll be better no doubt but it might not show up in their record.

I just don't know. People keep saying this and I see no evidence of it year-to-year.

To truly get better, we need to take out the trash that's currently occupying the majority of our roster.

SEC East or West nobody cruises to Atlanta. Too many good teams. Even the "bad" teams aren't that bad and can frick you if you don't bring your "A" game.

Agreed, I think it's more spurrier than shaw.

Spurrier out coaches the frick out of us.

Those screen plays an dink an dunks that just rape us.

He keeps it simple an does what works

I know shaw took over the game at the end, but USCe moved the ball on us all day an had two costly red zone turnovers by their RB didn't they?

Well it was only Butch's first year, and UT was competitive with several teams that had more talent this year....UGA, USC come to mind. Butch Jones is a good coach, therefore UT will be better. Guys like Marquez North and Josh Dobbs have to develop but UT will be a tough team next year, even if it doesn't show up in their record.

We lose a good LT and a couple good receivers, but Mauk looks like he could be a step up from Franklin on offense. I don't think we will see much drop off there. We lose some depth at DE, but still have some players. We should be stronger at defensive tackle. Losing Gaines will Hurt but the freshman Gibson and Penton look like they will be gamers.

My guess is 2nd or 3rd in the SEC East with 9-10 wins unless we get the injury bug again is a safe bet. And that we will be in position to compete for a conference title in 2015. There are a lot of young talented players that contributed this year.

He's not Murray. However he threw for 320 and had at least 5 that were on the money and dropped. He could have feasibly had a 380 plus yard game. Naturally, there will be a drop off at the position but it's not as dire as some are making it sound. Honestly, the O-line and whether or not our pass D will improve are bigger issues than Mason at QB although the Oline is intertwined w/ Mason's success, of course.

They have LSU at home and Bama away though. But I agree totally that UF can't be ignored.
