The intensity they showed from the first to last snap was impressive. They were focused and I haven't seen a QB play with so much fire and energy since Tebow. Will state keep it up or will they fizzle out?

They might be able to do it. Though it is easy to keep intensity up when you get to play the pillow biting lines that LSU has started to bring. Brick haley and Moffit should be ashamed today at how weak our lines look.

Depth appears to be much better than 2000 and any year since.

Dline has the strength, they just don't have the size anymore like they did in the early 2000s. LSU has changed the past couple years. Our fast slow front seven stops the spread, but gets manhandled against big run up the gut teams.

Remember 5 runs inside the 10, 4 STARTED at the 2, or better?

Yea, we couldn't stop yall. Even when it would be 3rd and 9 and yall would call a draw play. Gut wrenching to watch.

I think its a valid question.

So, State, are you one and done or can you act like you deserve to be there?

I actually like State and hope they can show resolve.

Would you like to rethink that quote???

The intensity MSU showed from the first snap to getting up 34-10 was impressive... Luckly LSU did not complete that last pass...

It wasn't intensity that fizzled out towards the end as much as putting in 3rd string defenders and play calling.

Time for some motivation:

True, dat.

But, Sir, I was referring to the 5 runs (of 6) total plays within the 10, where LSU didn't get in the End Zone.

I think we definitely have a good chance at being a top sec west team. That being said, I doubt we will come out of the SEC west on top without some luck. But at this point I don't see how anyone can say there is no way possible. Hail state

Oh okay, I didn't know what you were referencing. I thought it was when yall started the drive on the two foot mark. Yea that sucked too

Oh well, impressive showing by yall. I'm not even mad, I called this the upset of the weekend.

Sportsmanship from a True Football Fan!

Trick to score on State is Long Pass.

See that was the problem in my opinion. Our scheme was to run up the middle and then third down we bombed it. There was no short to intermediate passing game and that killed us. We couldn't connect on the long ball until it was too late

& the late long passes were well covered, could've gone either way...but, the were easy to predict...

LSU will be OK.
