Things look to be trending sharply downward for Hugh.

Will the NCAA want OM to disassociate with Hugh?

If not, would OM really want to keep him around?

Sometimes things just don't fall your way...

I hope not. He and Bjork should be fired for outright lying to their boosters and alumni on multiple occasions.

Unless there is yet another NOA, probably. If OM was going to fire him, they would have as part of their self-imposed sanctions to placate the NCAA.

I don't see how he does, but it's Ole Miss so who knows.

It looks like it. It would look bad for OM to fight the charges but sack their coach.

Even though I like his coaching, he annoys me as a person. But it's unfair to blame that loss entirely, or even primarily, on him. Many of the shenanigans being alleged didn't involve him at all.

They said they were going to fight some of the allegations. Maybe their thinking is that if they let him go now, they are admitting guilt on those allegations. Who knows when, but when it's all said and done, he's toast.

Will be disastrous if they keep him.

Ole Miss will probably can him but the bowl bans, the scholarship reductions, and the increased scrutiny would do him in eventually.

This.

It may be moot anyhow. If the charge against him sticks, he's virtually certain to get a show cause.

Ole miss is happy they got their rings for attending the sugar bowl. They don't care how they did it, right?

That is the thing...plus they've been lying to recruits...look at interviews from the safety and running back that signed last year after Freeze told them all allegations related to previous staff...when he knew that was not the case.

Yep. If the lightning doesn't get him, the thunder will.
