Just curious to see if ESPN tries to be politically correct.

Around 10 years ago I used to fly the confederate flag with Hank Jrs face on it at gameday. Nobody ever said anything.

Don't worry, I haven't done that since then. I've grown up.

Not unless you want to get your arse kicked by Ole Miss fans.

I'm not trying to be funny here. I remember hearing/Reading something that university was trying to get rid of people flying that flag at games. Was this really something done by people who attended?

This.

Where has everybody been the last decade?

I went there from 2006-2011 and never saw confederate flags in the Grove.

I was also front row when our student body and fanbase was booing and throwing shite at the KKK that was there uninvited.

People think Ole Miss fans are racist Mississippians, when in fact over 50% of the student body is from out of state.

If it was a battle of whits id take the ole miss fans but in a good ole fashion brawl I have to take the bama fans. Slapping a bama fan with dads' wallet is just going to make them go all retard strong and kill someone.

Yes, it seemed almost everyone had one when I first went to a game there in the 80's. But that game was in Jackson I'm pretty sure. But there were still a bunch of confederate flags in the crowd.

You know no one flew that damn flag after the Civil War, outside of veterans events, till the 1950s when it became like coon skin hats or pet rocks.

Ole Miss and Bama fans get along probably better than any two SEC fanbases.

Student bodies definitely do. They are very similar. I partied in Tuscaloosa a ton in college.

But we all know most Bama fans didn't go to college...

Yeah they got rid of them 20 years ago when Tubby first got to Ole Miss. There was a kid that pulled one out during the freshman "Rebel Run" and flew it above his head while he was running across the field. Security was on top of him immediately and from what I remember, he got a fine and lost some scholarships/financial aid. They take that shite serious now.
