Most likely. All VOLS across the country will sit back and smile as they watch Botch get burned at the stake by the Alabama Crimson Tide in his final game as VOLS HFC

They might not even let him make it to the post-game handshake before letting him go.

I hope he makes it to the Bama game. 66-0 has a nice ring to it.

I'd think yes. The admin knows they're going to fire him, but after what he's put them through they don't want to spare him what's coming in that game. It's not fair to make an interim wear that embarrassment. They want Butch to have it.

If Tennessee isn't going to fire him during their bye week, I don't see the point of not holding on to him until the end of the season.

I can't wait for the melt when Butch wins 9 games this year, and is retained with an extension.

Will the Rosy Finch Boyz ever win a meaningful game?

No matter what happens, they aren't firing Butch until mid-November at the earliest.

It was 49-10 last year, the most lopsided victory in the history of the TSIO. 55-0 seems very doable so far. As does 500 yards rushing.

A loss at home to SC and a decent chance he is fired before Bama. Still probably a greater chance he coaches against Bama even with an SC loss, and then 100% chance he is gone after Bama beatdown.

They will put at least 60 on the Vols.

Yes, but much of his office will be in totes and cardboard boxes.
