Gaspard left the program in shite shape. It's going to take Goff time but he has a track record of turning around programs. I'm not ready to label him a failure six games in.

Are you 12 or under, not a bama fan but they historically are one of the best programs in the sec.
They will get it back together.

ive been following SEC baseball since the mid 1980s, and ive never once considered Crimson Tide baseball to be one of the best programs in the SEC during this time...conversely, it was a 3 year run during the 80s that is the only reason state college/starksville is considered a top level SEC program.

Maybe not an elite program in the SEC, but probably 2nd tier. Gaspard fricked us hard in the end.

Alabama was certainly one of the best programs in the SEC in the late 90s.

if you feel this is true, then you must also consider Ole Miss as one of the best SEC baseball programs currently...because that is how it works.

i'm confused, when was the last time Ole Miss went to Omaha and made it to the championship game? Last time I checked Ole Miss could barely find their way there in the first place.

Starting in 1995, here's the seeds that Alabama had in the SEC tournament:
#2 in west (#3 overall and won the west tournament)
#1 and won the tournament
#2 and won the tournament
#4
#2
Ole Miss has been higher than #6 once since 2010.

Well since 92 when the piggies joined the conference Bama has won the sec tournament 5 Times to 0 for the Hogs if I am remembering correctly, Ark leads in CWS appearances 4-3 in the same time frame, neither program has won it all.
Arguing that a program with more success than their own does not care about winning is so Arky.

It's been in Hoover since the 90s right? Not saying that Bama didn't deserve accolades for them but if the SECT was played in New Orleans there is no telling how many SECT victories LSU would have
