He is only familiar with NBA coaching and NBA coaches leave for different jobs every year, so it will come naturally for him to take a job in which he can recruit to, has actual basketball support and fans, arena isn't an airplane hanger, actually has a Final 4, fans aren't racist against black coaches and best of all isn't in bumfrick redneckvilly Alabammerrr.

I doubt UF would hire somebody with zero college experience. They aren't that desperate.

SI just posted an interview where he literally said that if someone offered him 3 times what he was/is making now, he would decline it withou hesitation. With that being said.....

Tell me about all the black head coaches Florida has hired in any major sport.
Also I thought Avery Johnson was a terrible coach who can't recruit? Why would UF want him?

Why in the hell would Florida even hire him? They should have little or no problem doing better

Easy to make that statement when you know nobody out there is willing to pay you even one penny more

When you have the coaching acumen that The Little General has, big-time programs will inevitably come calling. Thankfully he's found his home as our fearless leader.

Well that settles that, a college coach would never be anything but 100% honest in a public interview
Come on dude, do you honestly expect him to go on national television and say he only cares about money and not his employer less than a month after accepting a new job?

Desperation is hiring a coach with a show cause.
