Little early to label Eltoro a bust. And I don't know if you noticed but the staff that had all those busts is gone.

Leon Hart won the 1949 Heisman Trophy as a lineman. That's pretty strong.

Yes, I read on espn that Auburn is actually giving all of their 5 stars to Hargrave.

I suspect we'll at least continue the tradition of having a better English dpt than Bama.

and what of Tyler Love and BJ Scott? (just off the top of my head those were both five star recruits)... not to mention the ones i'm forgetting that are 4 star.

this happens... that's why you need a LOT of good recruiting classes, coaches that can coach talent up, and coaches that know their X's and O's, and coaches that can get inside their players' minds and make them KNOW they're champions.

Can you really consider them busts as RS sophs though?

Every team has busts... auburn has significantly more in the last 5 years.

Kodi was a five star? Maybe on scout but not on rivals

not really. Our 5 stars have been pretty damn good. Andre Smith, Julio, Trent, Nico just to name a few.

Every school has 5* busts. Unfortunately for Auburn, we only got a few over the Tuberville years and they tended to bust.

I wouldn't consider Eltoro a bust yet. He was injured throughout the season. Kodi was overrated to begin with.

BJ Scott took a redshirt to learn the defense. He started out in 2008 as a WR but he wasn't comfortable with the position. He played DB in HS afterall. Tyler Love will probably get his best shot this coming year for playing time.
