or is it how many 5-7 SEC teams go?

TN is 5-7 and there's a better than 50-50 chance MIZZOU and Webel end up 5-7. Should any of these teams go bowling if 5-7 records have to be taken? (Personally, I would make a 5-7 team agree to purchase 30,000 tickets as a condition of its being invited.)

TN's APR sucks. I can't see them being called up. Mizzou is a maybe, I'd think.

There's a lot of interest in Mizzou for the liberty bowl no matter what.

Personally I don't think we deserve a bowl with our dismal play. We suck

Any athletic director who applies for a bowl waiver after a 5-7 season should be fired

Below average seasons should not be rewarded

Tennessee will not apply for a waiver. New staff will be 100% focused on recruiting.

Nope. Waivers can be filed for and granted based on APR scores due to other conferences not being able to fill their requirements due to sanctions and penalties.

If we apply for a waiver after this shite season the students should burn down the athletics offices.

"The likelihood of the 35 bowl games not having enough .500-or-better teams to choose from lessened in Saturday’s early slate of games. Week 13 began with 61 bowl eligible teams, and 16 teams with work to do to reach six wins. Central Michigan won on Friday to bring the bowl eligible total to 62; SMU, Purdue and Virginia Tech joined the Chippewas with wins."

Baylor won today so I believe that is another team which is bowl eligible. I think UConn defeated Louisville?? and that makes them bowl eligible as well. Not sure about West VA

Why? You would just make a big deal about the ruins that remain.

and even worse for the ACC is that if Ga Tech loses in the ACC CG, then it is no longer bowl eligible?
