Why would Bama fans mock Les Miles?

I do think Bama is the best team in the west hands down, no doubt in my mind. But you do realize should Lsu fire Les Miles that you may wish they hadn't ? Nick Saban is not getting any younger, eventually he's gonna hang up the gloves like all coaches eventually do. So mocking Les Miles and stirring the pot might just stick and Lsu gets a new coach.
Lsu is always going to recruit top players, therefore what happens if Lsu gets a stud coach and you have to replace one of the greatest coaches in college history? The tables can turn on a dime. You will not replace a Nick Saban. The west is good, real good. Some are up and down but you have to think how fast things can turn around.

I doubt L5U would make a coaching change because some Alabama fans on a message board made fun of Les. We can mock until the cows come home and it won't make a difference.

Yeah but what gets posted here reflects what is said everywhere else. This board won't get Les fired, but a combination of mocking lays heavy on boosters and bigger money guys. Nobody in power wants to see their team a laughing stock, even on message boards. It all piles on until the AD has his hand forced. I know what I'm talking about. Trust me.

Wtf....is this shite....L5U talk about Miles like trash anytime he loses. T.D and Louisiana call in Radio sports shows are a few examples. They flat out throwing CLM as if they are some traditional elite national power and can hand pick a coach.

Sure I can. And based on what he did last week with Dak, the score would be more of a blowout than 30-16.
I was perplexed that he herpderped the end of the first half with the ball and three TOs left. It was rather Les-ish.

I love Les Miles, he's a quality coach and we are honored to play his teams. He's had a three year run that is out of the ordinary for him and them, this year is still salvageable. Recruits well, puts NFL talent on the field, just needs to get someone to amp up the offense.
LSU fans, I mock them but only occasionally. They're good folks.
All the other jibberish in post is pretty obvious and we've experienced just like everyone else, and will again. The difference is that we bounce back, in a big way. As the saying goes, Built By Bama.

LSU will not find a better coach. No one is going to have a better record against Saban that is available.

No, we will not replace Nick Saban just like we didnt replace Bryant but barring the NCAA burning us we won't be back to 6-6 either. We have the resources, infrastructure, support, tradition and recruiting and will remain a force. We have twice the wins in our series as LSU. Nick hasn't been the coach but for 9 of those games. We aren't mocking Les. LSU fans were just so overboard with confidence the 2 weeks leading up to the game that there was no way Bama fans weren't going to have some fun if we won.

I call bull shite big time on this statement. sure, there are those that parrot message boards but there are lots more that don't even read them. message boards are dominated by the very young and folks that have too much time on their hands. and they are very susceptible to rumors and just love to gossip. it is almost impossible to separate the quality info on message boards because of all the "made up shite" that gets posted (and presented as fact) and the "i got a feeling" and the "my sources say" stuff. then, people start believing WHAT THEY WANT TO BELIEVE and then they pass it on as fact.
you don't need a masters in behavioral psychology to figure this out.
