Why would any decent defensive recruit EVER sign with a Big 12 team?

The coach doesn't know how to coach D. The fans don't care about the D. The other players on the team don't care about the D. The Big 12 doesn't care about D. The Big 12 league wants to handicap the D even more so the offenses can score more points than their Basketball teams.
How can you tell a Big 12 defensive player from a Big 12 offensive player? The defensive player is the guy who couldn't make it on offense.
Fortunately the Play Off Committee is slapping down teams that can't play decent defense. The Big 12 gets shut out again this year.

you do realize that OU has a better defense than 80% of the sec right? OSU would be in the top 70 percent of the sec. The only good defenses in the sec are Alabama Florida and MU. Who do you think faces better offenses every week idiot?

Watching that OU Baylor game, I was impressed. I don't know how they would stack up in the SEC, but OU put a hurt on Baylor.

They'd have an easier time in the SEC defending more traditional offenses that don't run 74 plays a game. That's how they'd do.

The Big 12 had 6 players drafted in the first 4 rounds of the 2014 NFL Draft. The SEC had 22.
