Not going to beat them, but not going to lose either.

Both better than their coordinators

I counter this with:

Nick Saban, better than YawYaw.

Way, way, way, better.

florida state is the only team on bama's schedule that might potentially beat them

Na no relevancy.. Thats why 80% of this boards threads have been about Ole Miss the past year. I'm not sure you know what relevant is. I know it may be hard for a Bama fan to understand, but theres good publicity and bad publicity, and both lead to relevancy. Thats why in marketing we say, there is no such thing as bad publicity if you're chasing relevancy.

Most folks measure a programs relevancy by the hardware stacked up in the trophy case. You measure OM's relevancy by the % of message board threads over the past year, during a massive NCAA investigation that has spanned damn near 5 yrs and resulted in 2 NOA's?

Yep, yawl relevant.

Well that may be what y'all say in marketing, but in football relevant means at the end of the season when it's all said and done are y'all a threat to when a championship. And that's a pretty big nope.

But y'all are relevant as the definition states: 'closely connected or appropriate to what is being done or considered.'

If what is being done or considered is football and what's closely connected is y'all playing the sport for a while means your closely connected to it. Sure.

But youre only close to a few SEC teams compared to football as a whole, so not even too relative in that sense. Having a huuuuuuge competitive rivalry with Mississippi state doesn't help your cause either.

But I think of relevant as being a contender in winning a championship wether it be SEC or natty. So nah, y'all ain't relevant to me.
