Am I the only one who thinks that him being at the FLA vs. LSU game is completely random?

...or he was there scouting a movie location/filming. Either way.

It was Tom's first football game ever.
Alleva had to explain things like the line of scrimmage, downs, formations and most important, WTF is a Buga.

1. Scouting a movie location

2. Filming a movie

3. Leonard Fournette's secret lover

4. All of the above

People in Louisiana think it's cool that so many movies are being filmed there, but in reality Hollywood is robbing your state blind.

What an enlightening opinion.

How is it robbing if the state set things up that way?

Completely inaccurate statement. People want to stop giving tax credits but our boneheaded governor and his cronies are the ones that think it's a great idea.

I think an argument could be made for both sides...that being said, it'll all be coming to an end soon now that they are cutting the film credits. There was actually a report about it on the local news last night after the game.

They tried to do the same thing in Arkansas but we nipped it in the bud. Luckily our state government isn't as corrupt as Louisiana's.

Dang! Now people won't be able to say they saw Tom Cruise hanging around. That's worth a couple bucks right?

Because on the one hand you have all the lost revenue, but on the other hand people get to see celebrities walking around. Tough call.

I ran into Peter Weller (original RoboCop) a couple summers ago while strolling through the French Quarter. He was filming an episode for some series he was in. He pretty much walked by me while they were in the process of changing locations. I addressed him by his name, turned around, and talked to me briefly and took a pic with my phone. I think he was impressed I knew who he was as I'm old enough to of been around when RoboCop hit the big screen in the 80's. No biggie to you guys, but I thought it was pretty cool running into him while just strolling along.

Say what you want, but Orleans is a unique place and a good spot to film movies or series, tax credits aside.
