Why was the Vandy game ppd when it hasn't rained?

I'd be absolutely furious if I was Vandy's coach.

I think it was moved up to avoid rain, then the radar changed, then moved back to original time. Maybe I'm off tho

Didn't they move it up two hours only to have it impacted by weather anyway? Lightening storm?

Rain? They aren't gonna melt from rain. However, lightning will cook your innards.

You do realize lightning is the issue more than the rain. If lightning shows up on the radar within X miles it seems like you get X mins of delay. Not sure what the distance is, but pretty sure the times 30 min.

Well 99% of the time when it starts pouring the tarp comes out.

It poured for two innings last night in Baton Rouge and they never stopped play. Almaot cost us the game, IMO.

According to Vandy's website, the possible game 3 would be Tuesday.
