Serious question.

Alleva said this was put out there and LSU would play there Monday.

Finebaum was talking about this and said absolutely not because all of the uncertainty of regional issues for public safety.

I figured we could at least reschedule for Sunday or Monday in case of a last minute reprieve in the weather and if not then cancel Sat morning.

But if you look at my thread on the schedule this solution does not fit the UF schedule scheme. It is in their best interest to not play this game numbers wise. LSU has got to play this game.

Since you mentioned 2005...

"So we got our night game, but not on Saturday night," LSU athletic director Skip Bertman told Gannett News Service. "Our preference was to play on Sunday night if not Saturday. We weren't going to move this game (to another location)."

You have an updated forecast for the weekend BamaBro?

You know, since you spent all evening yesterday insisting there was nothing to worry about

so the question still stands. Why not Monday?

Also we had moved the game the week before.

We still played didn't we? And we didn't even make Tennessee lose a home game. Maybe Florida should have taken notes.

I was strictly speaking about Bertman's absolute refusal to move the game to another stadium...a fact that lots of LSU posters are obviously too young to remember.

Seriously...why didn't Bertman just offer to travel to Knoxville...just like Alleva has suggested the Gators do?

Why cancel?

Why not extend the game to Sunday or Monday THERE..

And just see what the storm does.

LSU was more than willing to go this route, plus we could just see what will transpire..

Florida is straight up pussy shite.

You played because Slive mandated it. Fulmer actually was willing to forfeit rather than play on Sunday like LSU wanted.

This little nugget from the past should silence all the yapping about moving the game.

we had just travelled to Arizona state for what was supposed to be a home game. LSU can be accused of a few things but hypocrisy ain't one of them. We have moved locations and dates to accommodate weather. UF in their safe space can't be bothered.

You played on Monday because Slive said you would. The truth has finally come out...Bertman refused to move the game also.

Feel free to keep yapping about Monday. But any LSU fan who mention a moving to another stadium is truly clueless.

1. LSU had already lost a home game that same season by moving the game to Tempe.

2. LSU had already moved a second game to a date later in the season.

3. LSU didn't cancel the game. We played in on Monday after agreeing with Tennessee.

4. LSU didn't wait until the last minute to cancel after ignoring weather predictions and leave no option except to cancel.

These two situations are in no way comparable. But I don't expect Alabama fans to get nuance. I say this having grown up in Alabama and speak from a wealth of experience.

So why can't they mandate the game be Sunday or Monday? The Storm will be out of there by Saturday. We were able to do it, why not them?
