He'd start on LSU this year. Probably would have last year too.

Ok, but that doesn't mean much. Bama gets like 15 5* recruits every year.

He impressed Alabama, during his short time as a walkon.

When does UF start spring ball?

Also is your grad transfer on campus already?

He had offers from UCLA, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, and Colorado State...we didn't have a scholarship open at the time (we had already offered either Bateman or Cornwell, I forget which) and he chose to walk-on at Bama. From what I recall, he did well and I think at one time he was listed second on the depth chart. He was also one of the 11 finalists at the Elite 11 competition...

Well no matter what he'll still be good enough to beat y'all in Knoxville. Jeff Driskel and Treon Harris were.

He's an odd kid. Walked on to Bama even though he had power 5 offers. I think he came in with Bateman, but we were full, and his dad has cash, so he came anyways. But I guess he was expecting to start early, because he transferred from us, and then transferred again to Florida.

He supposedly was showing good potential, but wasn't quite ready to be the backup. If he'd have stayed (and would've gotten a scholarship once one opened up), he might have a good chance to start this year.

He might've even been a Nuss kid, and left when Nuss was told to look around.

Also "heard" that his dad (who played at USC) wasn't exactly fond of Kiffin...don't know if that rumor had any legs, but it might've played a factor as well...

You know, the fact that Bama's backup QB's are more talented than LSU's starting QB's might help explain that whole five game losing streak thing y'all have going on.
Just sayin'.

I always thought that he and his dad didn't like Kiffin so he left

Just FYI, a 3 star is still a fantastic football player. Many Many stars have came in as 3 stars or lower.

94% of high school football players will never play football in college. He has made the roster on two SEC teams.
