There are a ton of beatings in there. Last year was the first time in a long time it was a close game. Please forgive our overconfidence but your terrible play has conditioned us to behave this way. Congrat's on the good game last year and hopefully you guys can keep it up. It only took two years for Mizzou to get my respect, so it can happen quickly if you play well tomorrow.

Maybe so. UK seems to have turned the corner a bit. I thought they were going to a bowl game last year.

It's a historic series for all the wrong reasons for us. I can certainly understand Gators fans' points of view. It's just a game you automatically put a W by before the season begins.
The game has come to be a barometer of progress for UK fans. Last year showed that the Cats won't always lose their team composure in hostile environments. Stoops is showing that he does have control of the team in most games, though he doesn't have the talent yet to avoid some blowouts.
The Florida game this year, for me, is crucial in that we'll see if the Cats can play over their talent levels for an entire game. As the third game into the season, they must show some improvement in second half play execution.
The defense has played beyond what I expected and the offense has looked like a juggernaut at times. If they can put together a complete game against Florida, I will have a lot of confidence that they will have a good season and go bowling.
If they collapse tomorrow night, it will be a long season. After all, we don't exactly have an Ohio State-like schedule.
