1. 17 returning starters
2. No weaknesses. If you think QB then you obviously don't know how QBs improve year two.
3. Only Bama averages better when you combine the last 4 recruiting classes
4. Tough games are all at home
5. Lsu will be favored in every game.
6. No back to back road games
7. Dave Aranda

Agree, and LSU is simply due, when two good teams meet it is hard to keep beating the same team over and over, and I think the law of averages finally catch up to Bama and Arkansas when LSU plays them this fall. LSU = Highest paid coaching staff in the country, sense of urgency, all the intangibles point towards LSU being the favorite this year!

I doubt #5 will be the case. I am however cautiously optimistic about the season. If we get good breaks with out too many bad ones, I do think we have a good chance to at least be in the playoff.

This is the thing with LSU last year and "improving" QB play for 2016, In the games LSU lost the other teams were able to game plan for LF7 and knew that Harris was most likely not going to win a game against a great defense or win a shootout because the Harris led passing attack wasn't consistent enough to come back in games or keep up with an high powered offense.

If Harris can take some pressure off the running games and make the better defenses they play respect the pass or even make them pay for selling out to stop LF7 then LSU will be an elite team.

It really is that simple. If LSU gets down 10 early can Harris string together enough passes to get them back into games or can teams let LSU nickle and dime down the field and wait for a penalty or a negative play or a stop in the RZ? If Harris cant make the offense at least look like a balanced attack then LSU will again win the games where there is a clear talent gap up front but won't be able to win the big games against the equally or superior talented teams on its schedule. So another 9-3 or 10-2 type of year. It's all on Harris's shoulders.

This would be Harris's second year as a starter. sorry he didn't specify enough for a state fan.

Harris was a starter in 2014. Auburn destroyed him. Sorry didn't specify enough for a LSU fan.

That's quite the claim.
And lucky you; I'm not sure any other team in the history of sport has ever been able to say that.
