I wanna watch some more sec football. Don't they realize nobody is gonna watch them while BAMA/AUB is on?

I liked the egg bowl on Thurs/Fri. Was a nice treat. 2:30 on SAT was a bad idea for them

if you were Miss St or Ole Miss would you want a bunch of future recruits watching you right now/ Its best for both programs to have everyone watch Auburn/Bama then lie to recruits about how great their program is.

They don't want people watching that shite fest.

It's the greatest rivalry I've never watched

They wanted to be able to showcase the Battle Line Rivalry game on Black Friday. Egg Bowl relegated to Sat.

I think the Egg Bowl should get the 2:30 Eastern CBS Friday slot Arkansas Mizzou now occupies.

Unfortunately it is moving to ESPN Thanksgiving night next year and for years to come.

I used to think of it as a Turkey day thing. I remember when the Iron Bowl was on Thanksgiving. Some things are just meant to be on Saturday. Things like important in state rivalries. If you really want to throw records out, and when it comes down to going to your local grocery store, wearing your team's baseball cap to cover your bald spot.(me, not you). You can take the load of crap your rival fan dishes out. Then you look them in the eye and you say,"Oh yeah? Who won the game?". Tomorrow is about bragging rights in your state, maybe mine more than most, but the exact same thing in Mississippi. Tomorrow is huge for the SEC, as well. The new recently charged up SECEast(minus Tennessee teams, yawn and shame to both of you) plays their acc in state rivals. I know FSU plays UF, USC plays Clemson, UGA and the Rambling wreck, and what until recently pitts two basketball schools in Kentucky vs each other(Seems like this used to be an early season game). If the east teams can do well tomorrow, then and only then can claim they claim any victory for our conference. The truth is for 2/3 of the season in 2016, the SEC East was a shitshow. This is the east's last chance at redemption for said shitshow is to win some. No it isn't fair, it's the best of the acc vs the SEC shitshow. Saban says we should overcome our adversity, not piss and moan about refs. If the East teams shite the bed tomorrow, then all I have to say is Give em Hell Alabama!

It goes back to Thanksgiving Day next year where it belongs. I remember ESPN giving their pies to the Player of the Game. Remember in 1998 when Westerfield made the long FG to win it and Corso giving him that pecan.
