Yes I have lived in NOLA for 35 years. Yes that is why I follow LSU. Yes I'm somewhat knowledgable about football for several reasons. Yes I have degrees from Alabama. Yes I have nothing against LSU football, on the contrary. Yes I think a lot of LSU fans here and some of my friends in NOLA are bat/shite crazy and delusional. It is hard to talk football with anyone who believes their team will have 6-8 first round draft picks in one year and is prepared to shout down anyone who questions it.

Why are you so sensitive to me pointing out irrational things apparently believed by the fan base here? Is it because what I post is true and the truth stings? If i just made things up or called people names like most on here, it probably wouldn't bother you would it? Given the level of nasty invection directed at Alabama on here, do you really think my mild objection to the more spectacular lunacies exhibited by Tiger fans is out of line?

I tend toward nega-tiger, don't care much for Miles as a coach...but I don't pump Alabana either. I'm not anti LSU. It just so happens that irrationality is more obvious on here with fans of a team I follow and know something about, LSU. I'm cautiously optimistic next year but...
