Because it's inevitable. There has been a good bit of tapping out since Bama beat Clemson. It's just stupid to count Bama out, no one doubts Bama will repeat. Doesn't mean they will, but until the title game is made official and Bama isn't in it no one will doubt it again. At least no one with a brain.

Because Alabama has won so much that everyone else is mumbling to themselves. And the No. 1 recruiting class? Oh hummm, just another one. But, also in play is the fact that most Alabama fans are pretty sophisticated about football and know that batting gums now doesn't solve big question marks...and No. 1 classes don't show up on he field for a couple of years.
Meanwhile fans of some teams lose their freaking minds about prospects regularly. Why one team supposedly is going to have 6-8 first round draft picks NEXT YEAR. That same team supposedly has a 3-star DE recruit that is going to be a lock to be in the top 5 picks... not 5 rounds, top 5 in the draft... in 3 years.
So which would you rather have... fans panting like dogs on the hunt over a team with more questions than an FBI agent investigating Alabama referees and schedules, or fans being realistic and waiting to see how things develop.
