I know his accuser did recant his story, but fact that he did receive shipments of HGH to his home that has been proven. Fresh off missing a whole year due to neck surgery and he had arguably his best season ever.

If I'm not mistaken Roger Clemens had a similar circumstances that his wife received HGH shipments, then goes on to have Cy young caliber seasons.

So why is Peyton Manning getting a free pass in the media and from fans? Am I missing something here?

The free pass wasn't as troubling as ESPN basically giving him as long as he wanted to attack the story and reporting with no resistance whatsoever.

Because he is white, a Manning, and can't run. He has the trifecta, really.

Because Al Jazeera are fricking lying pieces of shite. Peyton did nothing, and his career may now be tarnished because of this stupid slander.

Every single player in the NFL is on some type of PED. Believe that.

In theory you might be correct. Right now, one NFL player has been linked with hgh, not in the abstract, but specifically. That player is Peyton Mannin(h)g(h).

The intern made up the story of meeting Manning, but HGH was shipped to his house that is proven. I was just asking because it is story on Yahoo sports detailing the situation and the NFL headquarters is trying to suppress the information.

The guy recanted his story, we all know that. Based on my limited research, there still isn't anything contradicting the receipt of hgh at the Manning house. If something else was reported on that part of the story, please link it for me.

According to the Auburn posters its because Manning is Caucasian. If Manning was a person of color there would be outrage, feigned or not, and calls for him to be held out of the Super Bowl.

Something else would have come out. Most have already forgotten the Al Jazeera story or simply dismissed it.

The report would have been treated differently if it were broken by Sports Illustrated instead of Al Jazeera.
