Coach and QB. Speight may not be Tom Brady, but he's got more experience than Florida's freshmen and more talent than their upperclassmen.

Harbaugh has also been recruiting really well.

Florida has a shitload of questions. Your HC is also better than theirs.

FLA has way to much speed for Michigan... MICH is A typical slow Big Ten Team... And Jim hasn't won anything as of yet,,, FLA doesn't score much but they have to many better atheletes tham Michigan...

Felipe is apparently not coming along as planned. What about that big TX kid that Fl has? He completed 70% or more in high school.

Big Ten teams being slow is a myth. That was never the difference between Big Ten and SEC teams. Ohio State had Santonio Holmes and Ted Ginn on the same offense. Those guys aren't slow.

The difference was always the defensive lines of the good SEC teams.

Yes and no. The Big 10 teams named tOSU and Michigan have always been fast so as it pertained to them it was a myth. However, the Big 10 teams named Northwestern, Iowa, and so on that comprise the majority of the league are slow as frick. Every team will have a speedy player or two - that's common even on FCS teams - but those Big 10 teams don't have speed across the board at every position. IOW, where speed is seen it's seen in the difference between SEC OLs and DLs and Big 10 OLs/DLs not at the RB, WR, or DB spots where everyone has some speed.

I mean we call it speed because that's the most visible thing you can see in a live game but really look at the recruiting rankings. It's far more than just that. It's superior athletes at every position. Even bad SEC teams recruit miles above the second level good Big 10 teams.

Speed isn't everything. Beside Michigan, hio State, Penn State etc have plenty of speed.
Not to mention that Michigan had enough speed to curb stomp Florida two years ago 41-7.
I don't see how Michigan is favored but UF has won with defense (Muschamp's boys) the past two years and they lost a lot of those players. I think the offense will have to step up for the Gators vs Michigan.
And to those who talk about Harbaugh, his 4-8 Stanford team whipped a talented 11-2 Southern Cal team and then he made Stanford a national program. He lead his 49ers to a Super Bowl and he has resurrected Michigan. I'd give him a big edge over the pin up adult for orthodontia-McElwain.
