Why is LSU getting grief about turning down Nov 19th?

Even if they did do it (which, LSU for the record didn't)? Florida and Georgia could play their game on October 22 and the make up game with LSU would be on October 29. It would be the least disruptive schedule wise. But we all know Florida's AD is not going to go for it.

Do you think the City of Jacksonville gives a damn about LSU?

Not sure why LSU would turn any opportunity to play down. LSU needs this game.

Well for one it hasn't even been offered as an option yet so we haven't turned anything down.

Actually LSU has some legitimate gripes about not accepting the Nov 19th date as a makeup. Honest answer.

Maybe Ags agree to move 24th back to 26th which might make it more agreeable. I totally get why it wasn't agreed to right away. Other considerations besides just making sure the 2 play.

Based upon this hurricane track, think the FL/GA game will still be played in Jacksonville in a few weeks?

The SEC could have some say. I say that now, whenever they let Florida puss out of a game that could and should be played Sunday/Monday. But yea, they could make that work.

Also why moving it forward and playing it in Georgia probably wont be a problem.

Foley and UF are going to only offer up the 19th after the fact to save face that they tried. They also know it puts LSU at such a monetary and competitive disadvantage for both that week and the A&M short week. They are banking on LSU never agreeing to it (they shouldn't), because UF gains nothing from playing that game.

Jacksonville pays UGA and UF $3M each to host the game every year. You are delusional

If Florida is not going to sacrifice to make it work, why exactly should LSU?

Foley will only agree to something he knows LSU wouldn't so he can say he tried and save face from a PR perspective. It's in Florida's best interest not to play this game so this is the angle he'll go. He's a coward but good at his job

once again, how much sense does it make to involve 3 teams in a mess that should really only involve 2?

If the Ags could accommodate, I could see it happening.
