Found a way to be played within a 48 hr window? Two of them in the state of Florida too!

UF did NOT want to play LSU this weekend and used this storm to manipulate the situation. That's the bottom line.

Not true. UCF game won't be for another month in November. Just like our game will be.

Why is it that we have to read another fricking thread that says the same thing as the other 90 just like this that have been started the past 24 hours.

It's not happening, get over it already.

Even some high schools in Florida have found a way to play the required "conference" games

Class 7A, District 4 frontrunner Ocoee (3-2, 3-0) will now play two contending league opponents in a span of four days next week. The Knights were forced to move their road trip to Ocala West Port (2-2, 2-1) to Monday at 7 p.m. Three nights later, on Thursday Oct. 14, they will host Lake Howell (4-1, 1-1) at 7:30 as originally scheduled.

Because, for one reason or another, not playing the game was perfectly okay with the University of Florida. We can all draw our own conclusions as to why that's the case.

UCF and Tulane had a common open date.

I guarantee the other Florida universities that are playing in Florida this weekend did not, so they found a way to play this weekend.

Lol that's actually pretty pathetic. Think about the players and how this affects them! What about their families???

Probably bcse the storm hit Miami way sooner than it would have impacted UF. Who knows, that thing could have turned inland even more. Just cant predict these things.

The UCF - Tulane game was a no brainer since both teams shared a common open date later in their schedule moron. You can't compare those situations. The other games that couldn't find common open dates were figured out to be played but your joke of an AD said he couldn't figure any other way except to cancel

Schedule it for Monday with a wait and see approach.

It was Saturday or nothing for the Florida administration.
