Seriously? Way too many losses, and had to play against good defenses, making his stats lower.

Dak isn't the best player either. He's really good, but if we're gonna pick a player from a 3 loss team, give me Fournette all day.

If he played on a better team with a better record he would be.
The Heisman is largely a popularity contest and PR campaign.

Dak is ridiculously good but given my choice I'd probably take Chad Kelly. Those are the two best qb's in the league.

The losses don't help, but the bigger reason is that he's perceived as consistently falling short in high profile games.
It probably isn't fair because aside from his 3 pick game against Bama in 2014, he has played well but there is no avoiding the fact that Mississippi State has lost pretty much every national spotlight game played during his career.
As others have said, this is a beauty contest and if you want to win it, you just have to win some of those games.
