Why is CFB, its fans and media so self-righteous?

Unless players are in jail, they should play. I'm sick of all this fake righteousness from fans, administrators, coaches and media about CFB being about educating and raising men. All that matters is whooping your opponents arse by any means possible. We need to stop pretending anything else matters. I want Mcelwain to stick his fiddle finger at CFB and play all nine suspended players.

Getting popped for Weed or dui is one thing. Committing credit card fraud is another. Do you want thieves in your company? I dont. Should UFs housing director still have his job til his credit card fraud court case is resolved for stealing $180k or not?

Yeah, I kind of agree with the old Tom Osborne method of saying you can't put a kid on hold waiting for the legal system to play out. There's probably some Title IX worry now given that everything seems to expose a school to liability.
But, this stuff is 1000 times more ridiculous with the NFL. Unless a guy is in jail, let him play. Stop playing moral police. Goodell must be extremely scared of SJWs and boycotts to act the way he does.
