Why is Arkansas-Missouri the Friday CBS game over the Egg Bowl?

I was pumped up about watching college football all day, took a look at the schedule and saw that Arkansas-Missouri was the Friday CBS game. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Why was Mississippi State- Ole Miss, a big rivalry game between two top 25 teams not the #1 choice? The worst part is there are a ton of good games on at the same time as the Egg Bowl tomorrow. I don't understand what CBS is thinking.

The schools chose the day to play, not CBS. Plus they're trying to make Arkansas-Mizzou relevant.

Probably because the Mizzou Ark game was scheduled for a friday while the egg bowl was scheduled for a saturday....you know the logistics of trying to reschedule a game in the middle of the season for a different day on a holiday weekend?

Jeff Long said fine you two (LSU ag) can have each other for the after thanksgiving slot but we keep Friday. Slive agreed and here we are.

Think Auburn/Bama trumps LSU/A&M on the schedule tomorrow....CBS picked up the Mizzou game because it is the only SEC game on friday

I'm in the deer woods with my buddies all day Saturday with no access to TV, so CBS offered to move it to Friday for me.
