Why I think Saban left the Pros and would never go back...

Like him or hate him... he is a control freak.
As fricked up as it is, in the pros the Head Coach is in someways third in command these days.. Sometimes even fourth.
He answers to the Owner, General Manager, and in some cases even the players. After establishing himself at the college level Saban has had to answer to no one but himself (except for maybe Mrs. Terry)... and I think that's the way he wants it and likes it.
Can't really blame him... If I was the head coach I would want to be in control of who we recruited or drafted and sure as hell wouldn't want others blaming me for the outcome when I had no control over getting the players I wanted to run the type of team I wanted.
Not all Owners and GMs are that bad though, I think the smart ones try to make the right hire and get the frick out of the way. But in many cases there are those that want to be all up in your business without giving you the chance to build your own team.

Mind blown.
I've read that countless times on multiple sites. (Just without the wall of text)

Did you come up with that all by yourself?

Hardly a wall of text, took me less than 10 sec to read it. Sorry reading is so hard for you, little buddy.

While a viable possibility, in the case of Coach Saban this is not the case. With the Dolphins, he answered to no one, not even the owner. It was the reason he chose to join the Dolphins over any other offer that he had heard up to that point. In Miami he had 100% total control of everything.

It turned into a "wall of text" after the first line. What person that pays attention to Nick Saban's career doesn't know what the OP was already going to state?

Since Saban to Texas is apparently a done deal, let me be the first to say "Saban to Bama".

Hard to "process" a guy that just signed a multi-year big money contract.

Q: If he's such a control freak, why doesn't his wife have ponytails?
A: Saban is angry all the time because he does not do the sex with his wife.

Saban left the NFL because he was a year away from not having a choice.

Tosh.0 disagrees.... but I won't say I do. I just don't think his style meshed well with the NFL.
