Why get upset over your provider not providing SEC network?

You'll be able to find it streaming on any number of sites on the interwebs..,

But thats a bit of a hassle...when just pressing a number on the remote control

Because that's how we want to watch football games.
Why do you care if people get upset? Are they ruining your day?

We will be getting Dish. With me it's a pride thing to have the network.

because it's not as enjoyable or relaxing to me watching it on a laptop/ipad compared to a tv. plus it's not like you can comfortably ask people over to watch with you unless all snuggle up together to get a peep of the tiny screen.

All it takes is one hdmi cable to your laptop, fwiw.

Not ruining my day. This is more of a PSA because I haven't seen it mentioned here yet. Might save some people some stress

Don't most bars have DirecTV though? Hopefully they are switching to Dish...I have not really kept up with it.

With Directv, I cannot get ESPN3. I have Directv, mainly because they are the only one with the NFL Sunday Ticket.
I do have a desktop computer hooked directly into my main tv, but don't utilize it very often.
Hopefully, Directv will add the SEC network before football season, otherwise I will need to decide whether to switch to Dish.

I don't see that happening.

Because all the streams are crappy and overloaded half the time.

Because watching a game on a big screen with your friends in HD is a lot more fun than lying in your bed watching it in 360P by yourself

the majority of streams on the internet are pure shite.
shitty picture quality, choppy feeds, stream death at random times, shite pop up ads, audio/video sync issues, etc etc etc.
its not worth the hassle and all people are doing when they use illegal streams is contributing ammo to the ISP providers case that they need to charge extra for a bullshite internet "fast lane".

Good lord dude chill out.
If it's that big of a deal to you, change providers.

If Comcast/Xfinity doesn't get it I'll be hooking up a slingbox to my mom's tv since she has Dish.

nah man.
people are too entitled and cheap when it comes to TV and media.
when you steal shite all you do is give the companies the political cover/PR excuse to jack the prices up even more.
if you illegally stream your sports TV you are ultimately being a cheap frick.
too bad so sad.
and I am planning on switching from TWC if they don't have it within a month of our opening game.

Neither do it ... because it's not. I have a Godson who works for ESPN in Charlotte and he said it'll be next to impossible for it to be pirated in North America, and that they've hired a security firm to go after any site that streams it without their permission anywhere in the world. Same strategy that worked for HBO North America with Game of Thrones.

While you'er fiddling around w/ a crappy stream pic going thru china and a bunch of firewall bypassware, we'll be enjoying the SEC on Uverse, Dish, Gfiber and eventually Directv, Comcast,Charter,Cox,TW along with dozens of small regionals, that will be jumping onboard as well.
enjoy!

I see what you mean... If I were a Hogs fan I wouldn't want to watch that opening game arse-whipping either.
