Why doesn't the SECN show more football replays during the summer?

Big ten network, for all its faults, shows plenty of 60 minute replays of past exciting games. Not only does the secn show maybe 1/4 the amount of replays as the big ten network, but the replays are usually the entire games, rather than the condensed version which cuts out the wasted time.

I'd love to watch more sec replays, but the network for some reason thinks people wouldn't watch them.

I've been saying this since the SECN started. Both The BTN and PTN show full game replays in 60 minutes. I don't understand why the SECN can/t/won't show them. It can't be too hard if the other two stations are already doing it.

It seems like they play more spring games than actual games. If I were them I'd broadcast the best games from week 1 through bowl season in consecutive weekends to try and simulate the previous year

Airing football replays would cut into the daily 10 hours broadcast of Paul Finebaum sitting at a desk pulling hot takes out of his arse.

But rest assured he'd still be on both major sports radio stations in Tuscaloosa

Yeah I'm watching a good classic game on Pac 12 network with the 2004 USC/ND game while the sec network is showing some boring arse gymnastics and women's basketball tournament. Nobody wants to watch that boring shite. SEC net. needs help bad.

How many more games do you want to see than the Top 25 games of 2016 that have been showing virtually nonstop for a month on ESPNU?

I can't tell you how many times I've seen Tennessee/Georgia and Alabama/Ole Miss

Who told them they could only show games from 2016?. There are hundreds of classic games from the 80s, 90s, and early to mid 2000s that they could show. Just like pac12 is showing this game from 2004. Whole lot better than watching women's basketball tournament or the best of Paul make my eyes bleed finabaum.

Most of bama's games have been replayed numerous times on the bamanetwork, the NCG as well. Same reason the same Saban commercial where he tells the girl not to buy that dress has been running since the inception of the network. What other commercial runs 3 + years?

Take away Bama replays and SECN is off the air 21 hours a day.

They literally ought to play replays throughout the summer of the Top 10 games of every season dating back to the 60s or something.

ESPNU has been showing top games from last year but for months before that SECN should air games. Also would like the SECN to show more 60's,70's,80's and 90's SEC games. They should also have more interviews with coaches from every team atleast once a week.

Yea, I'd love to see more games from the 90s and 2000s.

This.

The SEC Network sucks and it's a symptom of the larger problem with ESPN. They just are just so out of touch. Some douchebag in Charlotte at the SECN thinks we'd rather watch Alabama-Ole Miss for the 1000th time this summer instead of a variety of classic SEC games from beyond 2016.
