Why doesn't Georgia have any 1st place votes?

At the very least they look just as good if not better than us. I think we played more "ranked" opponents but Georgia looks like the top team in the east.

The fournette/LSU hype train is too much right now. Auburn isn't very good.

We haven't played a team that looks like they've had a pulse yet. I don't think we're deserving. If we look great against Bama, maybe we'll grab a couple. Ole Miss, MSU, and Ohio St. are the only teams that truly deserve #1 votes as of now IMO based on what they've done, even though I think a couple other teams are better.

I'm with you, man! We have yet to play a really good team, though. South carolina is really struggling and Vandy is all defense right now. You guys have played better competition. We'll know more when we meet Alabama in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I let my wife talk me into a trip the The Netherlands and will miss the game.

Their QB play needs to be better on the road. They looked damn good at home though!

This. We have looked really good but South Carolina might be absolute garbage this year so we will really know if UGA is worth some #1 votes in two weeks. Dawg fans have every right to be very optimistic right now though.

I tend to agree. When I look at some teams who have received 1st place votes since polls came out and who they've played there's no reason Georgia shouldn't. Especially after they mauled South Carolina.
