Why does Nick Saban get the rap for the opposition to satellite camps?

From what I've seen there were numerous coaches who didn't think they were a great idea. In fact, the idea was voted down by the majority of coaches a couple of months ago.

Then we get this "Jim Harbaugh and Nick Saban are in a fight" story floating around all over the place. Has anything really indicated that Saban gives a flying goat about Harbaugh. Harbaugh keeps trying to bow up on Saban, and Saban walks on by.

What am I missing here?

Well when you only come up to Harbaugh's waist, it's easy to do that.

The same reason the SEC is labeled as the villain against them - despite the fact that the ACC & PAC had the same dislike for them.

After all these years people still think the Saban short jokes are funny. It really is the saddest flame on the rant.

Uhhh, because he went on a rant about the subject for no good reason other than to take attention off of the stuff going on in his program... And started talking about rule breaking, which Jim Harbaugh took offense to because he has pushed the satellite idea so hard.

Pretty easy to understand. If he doesn't get all fake worked up about it, nothing would have been made of his press conference and Harbaugh doesn't get pulled into the argument again.

I'm not sure.

I think CNS runs a really great camp (I know kids who have attended) and sort of worries that everything will devolve to AAU basketball (which it is headed toward at some point).

I guess at some point it is a free country and people can have camps and organize them on or off campus with or without HS and college coaches.

Because he's Nick Saban and he's won 4 out of the last 7 national championships and 5 in all and people hate his guts. They will do anything to make him look bad.

Remember, this board melted for 2 weeks solid when he said our players were tired

Did I miss something? When did Saban say it was against the rules? When did he accuse Harbaugh of breaking the rules?

Nah. Harbaugh talks like that dude at the train station that every body just sort of smiles and nods at.

I know the little fella's rich but is he really rich enough to just give away flying goats? Those things are hard to find.
