I'm curious why Auburn has so many close games. After watching how well Auburns defense played yesterday I don't understand how Auburn can put up so many yards and only score 24 points. You can't blame it on turnovers or penalties, so what gives? Oregon seems to put the points up every game by finishing more drives. That has to be a concern for Auburn. It almost caught up with them yesterday.

I would love to see an Oregon/Auburn NC game.

I can absolutely blame it on turnovers and penalties, because that's the reason, along with piss poor secondary play.

1. we were getting ready for a 24-10 lead when Mario did what he does best = put it on the carpet.

2. the trick play kept you guys in it yesterday, but in prior games, it was our defense that forced a ton of points to win narrowly.

3. having said all of this, we basically blew arky out of the water in the 4th and cruised to a 22 point win.

Because our team has plenty of holes, like seemingly every team this year. This is not a 2004 type team. Yesterday it was because of poor special teams and starting like 5 drives inside the 5 yard line. Auburn easily could have won that game by three plus TDs.

Seems to be a pattern versus Crowton.

I firmly believe if Fannin hadn't fumbled in the 3rd qtr things would've been different.

Special teams definitely played a big part in our points output yesterday... example: we got the ball at our own 5 and drove 70 yards and missed a FG... we get the ball at the 20 and it's a different outcome.

Your punter is fantastic.

This is True. On yesterday's game you have to remember that LSU kept AU penned deep for the whole third quarter.

We could have made it a 14 point game but Chizik sat on it at the end. Over a min and first and goal. We could have rammed it down your throats again but our coach sat on it.

We had 3 scoring oppurtunities we left on the field

Fannin's Fumble
Byrum's missed field goal
Last drive of the game.

With those scores, Auburn hangs 37 to 41 points on LSU
