Why does Alabama always wear throwback uniforms?

Why don't they wear modern style uniforms like the rest of college football teams? Can they not afford new uniforms? Have they been reusing the same uniforms since 1963?
I'm not saying every team should be like Oregon and have a 1000 different uniform combinations, but I believe the Alabama football team is worthy of a new uniform.

We don't wear throwback uniforms. We used to have all-white helmets.

Alabama is actually one of only a couple of schools that are wearing the newest Nike template. So they do wear modern uniforms. Awkward.

Hell, LSU only has one uniform for the entire season.

As far as I know, only Oregon, Bama, Ohio St and FSU are wearing the Mach Speed template right now.
It solves the sweat patch on the stomach problem but they also look like they have a zipper down the front where the two chest panels meet.

Classic Uniforms like the power teams wear are the only way to go. If you suck and need to attract recruits with shiny new things, then you're not attracting them with winning...just my thoughts.
