Teddy Bridgewater had one of the worst pro days of all time, and he's a better QB than Manziel. Pro day means next to nothing unless it's a skill player blowing away the 40 yard dash.

For the same reason I hate Tebow. The obsessive media still thinks anybody cares about either of these two guys and feel the need to update us on every detail of their lives in TMZ fashion.

How do you know he missed film sessions and meetings. We're you part of the Browns organization. The guy clearly loved the game, and I for one dont believe he was given a fair shot due to his partying.

He's not a football player unless you are talking about down at the local park.

I thought he was hyped up bullshite from his Jr year forward to be honest. He had some talent being slippery, but he was extremely lucky vs Alabama in that game and the A&M defense gets 0 credit for the win, despite AJ throwing 2 of the 3 total interceptions he had all year in that game - including what would have been the winning TD pass.

He had trumped up stats against lower competition, running up 5 and 6 TD's in games where most QB's would have been taken out much sooner while having average and below average stats vs better defenses.

All that won him a Heisman and a 1st round draft pick and I don't see how he really deserved either.

Fumbling the ball and then being lucky enough to catch it and throw it to a guy who is open as a result of the defense reacting to the fumble isn't what I'd call quality play. Combine that with tons of bad decisions where Mike Evans tall arse balled him out of them for big plays and we then know why the Cleveland Browns are the Cleveland Browns.

i always hated him in the sense he took all the credcit his teammates should have gotten

the very first play of arkansas v. texas a and m in 2013, he runs around in a circle, doesn't look, just heaves the ball up 50 yards into quadruple coverage and mike evans out jumps everyone to make an unreal catch.

everyone on ESPN is like "that's johnny football". i'd never seem shite so lucky in my fricking life lol. i knew then he would be a bust. constantly bailed out by elite NFL talent on his team.

Did you watch the 2013 Bama game? He almost put 600 yards on you and single handedly almost won the game.

Dude could fricking ball.

That game wasn't as close as the score made it out to be. Evans bailed him out more than anything after he made tons of bad decisions/throws.

He was slippery with the change of directions and not getting sacked. Beyond that he relied heavily on luck. Even with the luck/help, his QBR was lower than AJ's that day.

Dude he put 900 yards on Arkansas in two games by himself.

That's quite the rationalization

I don't... he represents A&M to the core, he is the perfect face of that program.

The bailout you're thinking of wasn't even Evans

279 yards went to Evans, so he was the main contributor.

The most unbelievable thing about that game is how many times Alabama defenders didn't come away with it, block it or whatever. That was terrible.

He hit his gf so hard that he busted her eardrum. So what is it to like him? I don't give 2 shits about his football career.

He went 64 for 66 passing at his pro day. Wearing shorts & a T shirt & being chased by a broom. Good Lord. But as for his not watching films & skipping meetings, not sure what you watch on tv but more than a few talking heads on ESPN, quoting unnamed Brown's teammates, repeated this over and over. Even Adam Shefty, one of the most respected NFL experts said this several times. If he loves football so much, why does he act the way he does?
