Why do schools like A&M and Tennessee not have gymnastics programs?

These are huge state schools with lots of resources. What women's sports do they have that LSU, Bama et al don't have? I presume they have some because Title IX.
Are schools without gymnastics taking note of the 10k+ crowds these other schools are drawing?

Aggies would rather have male 'yell' leaders, instead of hot chicks doing splits

this is either the gymnastics team or just a bunch of cadets hanging out. I am leaning towards the ladder.

That's no random group. That's the famous A&M Boner Patrol founded in 1937 by Jack Meoff after Texas hurt your feelings.

Neither Mississippi school has gymnastics, either, but its because they're too poor.

Why would they want gymnastics? It's a non revenue sport that is run at a loss.

I honestly didn't know there was such a thing before A&M moved to the SEC. I'd like to see it happen, and the recruiting ground is obviously excellent. We'll see. As far as I know there are no plans.

It's a process. Mizzou fans are starting to care about baseball.
The sickness...you're having it.

All jokes aside, those are the current "Elastic Scholastics" troup, famous for their traveling Anal Circus and notable for their "Three Rubix Cubes and a softball" routine.

They don't have a swim program either, mens or womens. WTF Ole Miss, MSU? You are the only conference schools to not have a swim team. Can't afford a cement pond?

They think swimming pools are for liberals

The Texas A&M gymnastics program was kicked out of the NCAA in 1981 when they deemed our "extracurricular" activity to be training, which cause us to exceed practice time limitations.
