It wasn't a character concern.
I know people who saw him play in person say he was not that good.
I can't judge that because I haven't seen him play live..
We shall see though..
His offer list is not very impressive. LSU doesn't need this project. Perhaps he will have success with Arkansas, we shall see.

LSU was not interested in Kelly dude. They didn't come for him hard at all. If anything they completely backed off.
LSU has 2 much better QBs committed in this class currently any ways. Don't want him.
Really, good for Kelly that he is the #2 QB at Arky (if true) but that should speak more to a lack of depth than how good he may be..

Well, LSU avoided him like the plague, and so did every other school in the West. I mean damn, if A&M wasn't seriously kicking his tires down the stretch, that should tell you something.
Last I checked, the Tigers got the smart in-state QB as a bench guy and have two big time guys coming in 17, so I think LSU is just fine. Thanks for your interest. Good luck with the head case.

He wasn't rated high enough for LSU and aTm. How is he supposed to be a disappointment at LSU or make headlines transferring from aTm as a 3*?

LSU's main play the toss dive is a play that mainly works because of a RB's vision. Fournette has run that play just fine in his time at LSU.

There will never be a RB that is this big of a bust. He cost two separate teams first round draft picks. No teams will ever do this for a RB again.

This whole thread stinks of the Damarea Crockett thread. LSU did not recruit him because they didnt want him. It may turn out to be the wrong move but all schools miss out on instate recruits. Kenneth Dixon comes to mind. Yes their qb sucks but miles like a mobile qb, its not a secret.

Forget the stars and phony recruiting guru ratings. The kid showed up on campus and is the real deal It is starting to look like (has to be proved yet) the best qb out of La. since Bert Jones. Seriously. Les and company need to stop looking at stars and do their own evaluations when it comes to Qb's. High school perceptions do not necessarily become realities. When the gurus do get it right it just re-enforces the belief of the star system. When they often get it wrong the star gazers just files it away in the forgotten box and conveniently forgets all about it. Meantime the recruiting services empty your pockets of money so you can feel good about your recruiting classes. just saying.....

To be honest. The two kids they got coming in for 2017 are ridiculous. Myles Brennan is the best high school QB I've ever personally seen.
