Why did ND coach REFUSE to give help on Towns??

Better question. Why did ND Coach (Mike Brey) not go 2 for 1 at the end of the game? That was completely inexcusable.

Irish definitely seemed to go away from their offense down the stretch. Maybe UK clamped down a bit too.

I can only guess he was ok with Towns scoring if everyone else was kept at bay (which they were most of the night).

I thought Notre Dame lost it coming out of the second to last time out. I can't imagine the play drawn up was an ISO play to jack up a bad three like that.

That had to be it. I mean, you're down 2 and set up a three-point play? No, they just panicked.

It was idiotic. Did he even miss? I can kind of understand it if UK was a good three point shooting team, and ND had the ability to defend him decently but they did not.

That was the only thing I could figure. Maybe fear of Harrison getting it in his hands with as clutch as he is in late games? Who knows.
