What the hell was Mizzou thinking?

Kansas City, Missouri is literally the Garden of Eden to the Mormons. It's their Holy Land. And Missourians waged a bloody campaign to kick them out of their Holy Land in the 1800s.

quote:
A military order signed by Missouri Governor Lilburn W. Boggs on October 27, 1838, directed that the Mormons be driven from the state or exterminated

quote:
On June 25, 1976, Governor Christopher S. Bond issued an executive order rescinding the Extermination Order

It took Missouri government 138 years to rescind the original Mormon Extermination Order!

So what does Mizzou do? We allow the Mormons to play us at Arrowhead Stadium (KC Chiefs), the epicenter of their Garden of Eden.

This game is personal to the Mormons. This will be FAR more than a game...this will be a war to avenge the theft, rape, and murder of the early Mormon leaders. Make no mistake: The Mormons are coming to Missouri to seek revenge for the persecution of their grandpappies and grandmammies.

Kansas City, Missouri is essentially the Mormons' Mecca or Jerusalem, and they'll pilgrimage here to play for the Moromon souls who lost their lives due to "Missouri Justice".

Mizzou fricked.

It seems they're following the newly recent SEC model of scheduling OOC games at neutral sites versus home and away series.

Mizzou knows BYU would smash them in Utah if the game was played there....

To the fine Mizzou folks on this board...

Independence, MO was founded BEFORE Kansas City. Joe et al were gone from Jackson County by the time of KC's founding. I understand it is NOW part of KCMetro area having been there many times. Old time Independence residents (including my aunts and uncles) sometimes stiffen at Independence being called part of Kansas City.

To whoever thought the LDS don't care about the Temple Site anymore, think again. The LDS have been buying up MO property for decades using dummy corporations. The LDS Church is one of the largest landowners in the state now. And, the LDS believe, when Jesus comes back again, His kingdom will be headquartered in Independence, MO.

Do you know how I know you know nothing about football?

See what's going on 11/7/2020. You do that and you'll find out why many of our fans are bitching about Alden and scheduling this game in KC.

I actually thought you might be worried because Pinkel made the comments about independents(not Independence) needing to play in conferences so BYU might be extra motivated. I'm sure Pinkel will remember to get the team up for the indie in Indie..

I read what you're talking about regarding the game at KC and the other at Provo. I hear your complaints, but the game is still in Kansas City, a home game for you guys...

Yeah, conveniently leaving out the part where you said we were afraid to go there because we'd get stomped. Seems we're not afraid to go there.

Trying really hard not to say this in a condescending way but...

People who live in MO now (including KC area) are almost undoubtedly more in tune with the area than you....so quit trying to argue this.

I thought it was Independence, Missouri but whatever. I don't understand the rest of your rant (probably because it makes so little sense).
